Hitman
is a spy show; complete with under cover agents, assassins, and organizations
bent on taking over the world. But not just any spy show – this one is put on
and produced by Patrick Henry College students! I guess they can’t be content
with beating Oxford in Moot Court.
They’ve done an awesome job, too. Almost all of the acting easily lives up to
even the best independent Christian films, and the soundtrack is nothing less
then incredible. As far as suspense and plot twists go, I watched all 16
episodes as fast as I could download them, only a few days. Only the occasional
lapses in sound quality, such as having no ADR, remind you that this is
an independent series, and not a big budget film.
I would highly recommend watching it
– although I should warn that some episodes do warn about graphic violence that
may be inappropriate “for infants.” (I’m not making this stuff up). Don’t be
afraid to start with the first season, the acting is just as good toward the
beginning and it will enhance the suspense. Oh yeah, and the arms dealer in
season #4 talks a lot like Alessandra (Yes, that is a ploy to get you to watch
it).
